What Makes Miracle Garden Different

There are flower parks in most major cities. Miracle Garden is unique because:

  1. Scale. 150 million flowers. Not beds of them — walls of them, arches of them, tunnels of them. Everything is denser, louder, more saturated than you expect.

  2. Climate irony. This is a flower park in a place where flowers would not survive 4 months of the year. Everything is hand-planted each autumn. The whole garden is rebuilt from scratch annually.

  3. Themed installations. This is not just plants — this is art made of plants. An Emirates A380. A Disney castle. Life-size giraffes. A 15-meter floral Mickey Mouse. Every year has new centerpieces.

  4. Photography. Every 20 meters there is another picture-perfect frame.

The Highlight Installations

The Emirates A380

A full-size replica of an A380 airliner covered in 500,000 flowers. Guinness World Record for the world's largest floral installation. You can walk around it. You cannot enter the aircraft itself (there is no aircraft behind the flowers, just a frame). Go early for photos without crowds.

The Floral Castle

A 20-meter-tall castle entirely covered in flowers. The design changes year to year — some years it is Disney-inspired, some years medieval European.

The Heart Passage

A tunnel made of red and pink flowers forming a heart arch. One of the most Instagram-ed spots in the garden. Expect queues for photos on weekends.

The Floral Clock

A working clock face made of plants, 15 meters across. Hands move in real time.

The Disney Avenue

Themed around Disney characters — Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, and princesses rendered in flowers, 3-5 meters tall each.

Smurfs Village

Smurf houses (actually accurate to the cartoon scale) built out of colored flowers and placed in mushroom-themed settings.

The Umbrella Street

A walkway covered entirely with colorful umbrellas (not flowers, but part of the park). Cool shade, vivid photos, very crowded on weekends.

Butterfly Garden (extra ticket)

Adjacent to Miracle Garden, a separate attraction with 15,000+ butterflies across nine domes. Separate ticket, usually ~$25. Consider combo package.

When to Visit — Season & Time of Day

Season: Miracle Garden is a seasonal attraction. It opens in early November (sometimes mid-October) and closes in early May. Closed June, July, August, September.

Specific opening dates change year to year. The 2025-2026 season ran mid-October 2025 through mid-May 2026. The 2026-2027 season is expected to open around early November 2026.

Best month: January and February. Flowers are at their peak, weather is cool (15–25°C), and the garden is lush.

Time of day: Open 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (weekdays); 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM (weekends).

  • Best for photos: 9:00–10:30 AM. Soft light, few crowds.
  • Best for weather: After 4 PM. Cooler, long shadows.
  • Most crowded: 4:00–7:00 PM on weekends.

Practical Tips

  • Wear: Comfortable shoes — you will walk 2–4 km. A hat for daytime (very little shade). Sunscreen.
  • Photography: Allowed everywhere. Drones not allowed. Professional shoots require a permit.
  • Food: Food trucks and small cafes inside. Reasonable prices.
  • Stroller-friendly: Fully. Wide paved paths.
  • Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible throughout.

Getting There

Miracle Garden is in Al Barsha South, near Dubailand. No Metro station within walking distance.

Options:

  • Taxi: $15–25 from downtown, $8–15 from Mall of the Emirates area
  • Dubai Bus 105 connects from Mall of the Emirates Metro to the garden (limited frequency)
  • TripUAE group transfer: Pickup from any hotel, combines with Global Village in one trip
  • Rental car: Free parking on-site

Combining with Other Attractions

The single most popular combination is Miracle Garden + Global Village on the same evening. Both attractions are seasonal (November–May), both are within 20 minutes of each other, and both get better after sunset. Go to Miracle Garden at 4 PM, Global Village at 7 PM, back to hotel by 11 PM. Most group transfers package them together.

Miracle Garden alone is a 2.5-hour activity. Combining it is almost always worth the extra hour.

Ticket Types

Standard day ticket: $30 adult / $25 child (3–12) / under 3 free.

Miracle Garden + Butterfly Garden combo: ~$50 adult. Worth it if you have kids or love insects/nature.

Miracle Garden + Global Village combo transfer: ~$40–50 including transfer from Dubai hotels. Best value for most tourists.

Group transfer from Dubai hotel + Miracle Garden ticket: ~$35–40 total through TripUAE.

Photography at Miracle Garden

The garden is engineered for photographs. A few things that help:

  • Arrive early (9:00–10:30 AM). Soft light, empty frames, fresh water droplets on petals.
  • Or go at sunset (5:00–6:30 PM). Warm tones, less harsh light.
  • Use a wide-angle lens. The floral tunnels and arches reward wide coverage.
  • Watch for the A380. Best angles from 100 meters away, centered on the tail.
  • Peacocks. Yes, there are peacocks walking around freely. They are photogenic and not aggressive.

Tripods allowed. Flash allowed. Professional commercial shoots require permits — contact the park in advance.
